Global Expansion

Robust economic conditions created capacity challenges during the 1990s, and ESCO expanded operations throughout the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. ESCO purchased Impulse Hydraulics in San Diego, AMSCO’s Shovel Dipper line, and the Guisborough foundry opened in the United Kingdom. ESCO entered a joint venture to manufacture products in China. Acquiring Heflin Steel added wear liner fabrication and armor plate capabilities, and the new Super V tooth system was an instant success and today remains an industry standard.
