As Group Vice President of Engineered Products, North American Operations, Collins coordinates all of the company’s manufacturing operations throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico. In this role, Collins’ focus is on operational excellence, as well as continuous improvement and lean manufacturing. He is also responsible for optimizing the company’s manufacturing cost base and building capacity in order to meet growing demand for ESCO products.

Collins began his ESCO career in 1977 as a flogger and a grinder before entering college. He received his BA from Brigham Young University in 1983 and his law degree from the BYU’s J. Reuben Clark Law School 1986. Collins was also a partner with the Portland firm of Newcomb, Sabin, Schwartz & Landsverk until 2000 when he returned to ESCO. In 2007, Collins transitioned from his corporate role as General Counsel and Vice President of Administration into his current operational role with ESCO.

Collins earned an MBA in 1998 through the Oregon Executive Program of the University of Oregon. He is a director of the United Metals Trade Association, a board member of the Portland Business Alliance and the Boy Scouts of America, Cascade Pacific Council.
