Steven D. Pratt

In his role as Chairman and CEO, Pratt provides the company’s vision and direction and is responsible for the success of the company’s Engineered Products and Turbine Technologies groups.

Pratt has been with ESCO for the entirety of his career, beginning in 1972 in the foundry-training program. His company experience ranges from plant management to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Pratt has been a Board member since 1993 and was named ESCO President and CEO in 1995. He became Chairman and CEO in 2003.

Pratt received his BSME from the University of Washington in 1969 and his MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Finance and Commerce in 1971.

Pratt is also involved with the Associated Oregon Industries (past chairman), the Oregon Business Council, the Boy Scouts of America (past president) and Stimson Lumber (board member), and is the 2008 chair of the Oregon Business Plan.
