The Hex Bore System was specifically designed for the Hydraphase Wethead and wet longwall applications. Dry versions of hex bore components are also available to use with a conventional spray setup. |

| Hydra’s radial systems offer many advantages to conical cutting systems in some mining applications. The concept of the design is to cut coal from the face rather than bursting it away like conical bits. Radial bits typically use less energy while reducing the amount of dust generated, especially when using the pick back flushing spray. |
We carry all types of bit holders including rotating, non rotating, press fit, step, and hex bore. All parts are CNC machined to exact specifications and heat treated for strength and durability. |
