Continuous Rotating Grapple (CRG) Series

The ESCO Continuous Rotating Grapple (CRG) Series is the ideal choice for all bunching and sorting applications. Five models of bunching head are available: 12.5 sq. ft., 14.4 sq. ft., 14.9 sq. ft., 16.6 sq. ft., and 19.0 sq. ft. Two models of sorting head are available: 9.0 sq. ft. and 13.2 sq. ft. The CRG Series offers multiple benefits, including:

• 360 degree rotation to reduce the load on the hydraulic system for longer hose life
• All key components are cast in ESCO alloy steel for increased strength and durability
• Hardened pivot pins, which provide longer, trouble-free service life

Series 2000 Bunching Head

This rugged head design features high-strength,
alloy-steel tongs with a reinforced gusset, and its two cylinders quickly provide superior clamp force. The ESCO bunching head is specifically designed for use with smaller, consistent-diameter and pre-bunched trees. Its wide tong openings and larger containment area are ideal for today's plantation and second-growth applications. Available tong sizes:

• 90" (229cm)
• 110" (279cm) 10 sq. ft.
• 120" (305cm) 12 sq. ft.

ESCO Sorting Head

The latest in a long line of rugged performers, the ESCO sorting head’s cast components and patented snubber make it the preferred solution for tough skidding applications. The sorting head is designed for use with larger, inconsistent-diameter logs. The scissor action is well suited for the gathering of individual logs, and tong sizes are 84" (213cm), 100" (254cm) and 104" (264cm).
