ESCO offers a wide selection of cutting edges and routers for both conventional and elevating scrapers.
Each edge is designed to extend wear life and wear sharp throughout its life decreasing cycle times and reducing cost per yard moved. Select from multiple value-added cutting edges, such as the HD or XHDversions. Or choose a serrated tooth edge for truly tough jobs. No matter what the digging conditions, ESCO has a scraper edge combination to match customer needs.
ESCO scraper products are available in the following alloys:
- ForgeTemp® Steel Plate High carbon roll-forged steel, designed for highly abrasive, moderate impact conditions.
- MaxTemp® Steel Plate Heat treated through-hardened steel gives maximum protection against impact breakage in the toughest digging conditions without sacrificing wear life.
- Carbide Embedded Plate Significantly extends wear life over conventional edges in moderate impact conditions. This product is produced by embedding carbide particles into a heat-treated base metal, bonding the metals together forming a unified steel with greatly extended wear properties. Carbide embedded products should not be used where surfacing marring and etching of conventional steel blades is prevalent.

ESCO steels give superior resistance to impact breakage and abrasion wear.
Increased bevel angle provides more material for wear, longer service life and are roll-forged to shape, not flame-beveled or machine-beveled from ordinary steel.
Straight and true, flat and warp-free, as only a roll-forging can be. Scrapers equipped with ESCO quality cutting edges work longer, on high-speed schedules, with less frequent downtime for cutting edge changes.
