ESCO Lip Systems
Whisler Lip System
ESCO offers direct replacement parts (DRP) for other manufacturer's buckets, including Whisler shovel dipper lips and wear parts. The ESCO Whisler lip is a cast lip system with all mechanical shrouds, points, and adapters. ESCO offers the Whisler 8 for 10-23 yard dippers, the Whisler 10 for 18-44 yard dippers, and the Whisler 11 and 12 for 34-60 yard dippers.
Whisler Lip System Features and Benefits:
- Lip curvature of lip profile provides better penetration and digging performance
- Spade angle of lip front penetrates smoothly and efficiently
- Corner teeth flare to cut clearance for sides of bucket
providing better penetration and increasing wear life
Whisler 11 Lip Features and Benefits:
- Tapered leading edge provides a distributed bearing area between the lip and the adapter, eliminating line-contact for better adapter stabilization
- Distributed bearing area reduces stress in adapter legs reducing adapter breakage
- Distributed bearing area increases contact area between lip and adapter decreasing wear and maintenance
- 10% stronger than the Whisler 12 lip
ESCO Whisler lips are available with a full line of accessories, including:
- A full line of Toplok lip and wing shrouds, both standard and heavy-duty
- A full line of pin-on lip and wing shrouds, both standard and heavy-duty
- The ESCO Super V tooth system
- Whisler mechanical adapters, with clamp and wedge fasteners
Loadmaster® SSC Lip System
The ESCO Loadmaster SSC lip is cast in alloy 12T with excellent strength properties. This strength provides better toughness than plate lips and meets the needs of today's mining machines operating in severe applications.
