ESCO offers a wide selection of cutting edges and routers for conventional and elevated scrapers.

Each edge is designed to extend wear life and sharpness throughout its life – reducing cycle times and cost per yard. Customers may choose either the heavy-duty (HD) or the extra-heavy-duty (XHD) edge, or select a serrated-tooth edge for exceptionally tough jobs. Regardless of the digging conditions, Pacal Blades has the scraper edge combination to meet and exceed expectations.

Increased bevel angles are roll-forged to shape, rather than flame-beveled or machine-beveled from ordinary steel. This provides more wear material and longer service life.

Pacal Blades scraper products are straight and true, flat and warp-free – as only roll-forging can provide. Scrapers equipped with Pacal Blades-quality cutting edges work longer on high-speed schedules, with lessdowntime for changes

• Pacal Carbon – High carbon, roll-forged steel plate designed for highly abrasive, moderate impact conditions.

• Tensiloy^® – Heat-treated, through-hardened steel providing maximum protection against impact breakage in the toughest digging conditions, without sacrificing wear life.

• Carbide Embedded Plate – Significantly extends wear life over conventional edges in moderate impact conditions. This product is produced by embedding carbide particles into a heat-treated base metal, bonding the metals together forming a unified steel with greatly enhanced wear properties. All Pacal Blades carbide embedded products are fully warranted to provide cost-effective service in factory recommended applications.
