ESCO engineers developed faster hydraulic power units to improve performance and reduce cycle time on older ESCO Swagers.
Two models are available:
- 4089147 for MK 75-87-100 ESCO Swagers
- 4089576 for MK 150-200-250 ESCO Swagers
The self-contained power unit stands beside the press and is controlled by an electronic foot pedal, which activates a solenoid control valve. A built-in limit switch reduces die wear and breakage, while minimizing stress on the swager. A sight-glass indicator makes it easy to monitor oil level and temperature, and an easy-to-read gauge shows when the filter needs to be changed. In addition, an hour meter is built into the electric control housing to help schedule maintenance.
Included with these power units is a travel limit switch an optional install on older ESCO Swagers. The limit switch stops the swager motion when the toggle links reach a preset angle, rather than using the mechanical stops on the older swagers. Either way, hydraulic relief valves prevent over-stressing the machine. |
