ESCO offers a complete line of sockets to handle even the most complicated socketing and connecting problems. Standard sizes range from 3/8" to 4" – with painted or zinc finishes. Special sizes are also available upon request. Please refer to the specification charts to determine exact dimensions.

Open Spelter Sockets

• ESCO cast open spelter sockets meet the requirements of ASTM A148/A148M-84 Gr 90/60.
• ESCO cast open spelter sockets are recommended for use with 6 x 7, 6 x 19, 6 x 37, EIP, RRL, FC or IWRC, wire rope or strand.
• Design Factor is 5:1.
• Sockets L-7032 to L-7037 are supplied with grooves. Grooves in larger sockets are supplied only by special request.
• ESCO cast open spelter sockets are available painted or galvanized.

Closed Spelter Sockets

• ESCO cast closed spelter sockets meet the requirements of ASTM A148/A148M-84 Gr 90/60.
• ESCO spelter socket pins meet the requirements of ASTM A322-82 Gr 4140.
• ESCO cast closed spelter sockets are recommended for use with 6 x 7, 6 x 19, 6 x 37, EIP, RRL, FC or IWRC, wire rope or strand.
• Design factor is 5:1.
• Sockets L-7000 to L-7007 are supplied with grooves. Grooves in larger sockets are supplied only by special request.
• ESCO closed spelter sockets are available painted or galvanized.
