Integrated Manufacturing Earns Applied Materials Quality Award

ESCO Integrated Manufacturing earned a Quality Figure of Merit Certification (QFoM) award from Applied Materials (AMAT), its largest customer, for the second year in a row. The award recognizes ESCO as one of the premier suppliers for AMAT and gives ESCO IM preferential access to new business.

A QFoM award is a great honor. ESCO IM knew that they would have to improve upon their exceptional 2003 performance to receive the award for a second year. “Everyone in our organization contributed to this achievement, and many displayed impressive heroics that were critical to our success,” said Bob Pruett, Vice President of Operations for IM.

“Because of the exceptional quality levels required to meet QFoM Certification, this award also has a wider effect on IM”, according to Steve Pickering, President of IM. He further comments “We are now capturing additional business in other strategic core markets. For example, when we review our quality procedures and near world class results with customers in aerospace, medical or national labs, it is very common to hear that we exceed their expectations. Their high degree of confidence in our abilities creates a distinct competitive edge for IM.”
