Portland, OR - ESCO^® Corporation announced that TecoMetrix, of Tempe, AZ and Isys Manufacturing, of Concord, CA have changed their names to ESCO Integrated Manufacturing. Along with its new name, each company is sporting a new look. The updated logo features a red oval and gray blade that represents the molten metal and cutting edge manufacturing processes for which the companies are known.

“Both companies recently changed their names in order to align their individual strengths with the operating and financial strength of ESCO, while maintaining local management, entrepreneurship and flexibility,” states Steve Pickering, president of the ESCO Integrated Manufacturing Group (IMG). “We have made a significant investment in both operations, despite a down economic cycle, because we believe they are poised for phenomenal growth.”

ESCO IMG is a premier contract manufacturing source for major OEM’s in semiconductor capital equipment, aerospace, medical, instrumentation and other technology-based industries.

ESCO IMG Tempe recently leased 12,000 square feet of additional manufacturing space and acquired several million dollars of new manufacturing equipment to add electro chemical machining and ultra high precision grinding capabilities to its existing competencies in high speed machining and contract manufacturing. The new operations are expected to be fully functional by March 2003, and Tempe employment is expected to grow from 100 to 125.

ESCO Integrated Manufacturing, Concord has recently been awarded new business modules that require management of large, complex bills of materials. To support all functions, the company has implemented a new Oracle operating system that helps with supply chain management, manufacturing flow-through and job scheduling.
