New Logo for ESCO Corporation Unifies Diverse Brands

Portland, Ore. - Portland-based ESCO Corporation has announced a new logo system. The updated graphic identity replaces the individual marks of all 14 companies within the ESCO group, as well as the ESCO scroll, which had remained unchanged for 80 years.”

In recent years, ESCO Corporation’s scope has changed considerably through organic growth, strategic acquisitions and joint ventures,” said President and CEO, Steve Pratt. “Our new logo is the most visible part of a branding initiative that clarifies what ESCO is all about, and brings unity and increased recognition to the diverse brands of our component companies.”

C.F. Swigert, who needed a local source to replace worn out parts on the Portland trolley cars he owned, founded ESCO Corporation in 1913. Since that time, ESCO has become an international corporation that employs over 3,300 in four operating groups with manufacturing distribution and sales offices on six continents. ESCO provides highly engineered metal products, turbine components and contract modular manufacturing services to a variety of industries worldwide.
